The Ski Tester is a concept thought up by VTC's Dr. Kidder and inspired by Burton snowboards in order to help the VTC ski club design and manufacture skis. Initially, the club was guessing when constructing the skis. Now, with the help of this project, the club can test professionally made skis, obtain their "EI" (flex) number and damping coefficient and frequency of vibration and compare it to the skis they make.
