About The Vibration Test
The vibration test is designed around finding the damping coefficient of a ski. Damping of a ski effects the handling over various surfaces.
The ski will be clamped at one end, with the accelerometer placed at the tip, a specified distance away from the clamp. This is done because the oscillation frequency will chance based on the distance.
When ready, the user will push a button on the microcontroller to initialize the test. The motor will turn to begin the vibrations.
